This list is part of the Open Access Directory.

2014

Starting this year, the OAD no longer maintains a separate list of OA Week events. Please add OA Week events to our main Events list.

2013

2012

2011

Open Access Week 2011, October 24-30, 2010

2010

Open Access Week 2010, October 18-24, 2010
This list is co-sponsored by the Open Access Directory, eIFL, OASIS, PLoS, SPARC, and Students for Free Culture.

2009

Open Access Week 2009, October 19-23, 2009
This list was co-sponsored by the Open Access Directory, eIFL, OASIS, PLoS, SPARC, and Students for Free Culture.

2008

Open Access Day, 2008, October 14, 2008
This list was co-sponsored by PLoS, SPARC, and Students for Free Culture --the founding partners of Open Access Day. The list began as a database at SPARC and moved to the OAD on October 4, 2008, for community editing.

Because the worldwide response was so large, in 2009 the sponsors decided to coordinate an Open Access Week instead.
