Editor of the Open Access Journal Materials and Devices, university professor, physics of condensed matter. First researcher in the CNRS (french ceentre for scientific research) after my PhD in 1981, I thereafter defended my habilitation in 1985 in the university of Montpellier. Thereafter I was recuited as university full professor in condensed matter physics. I worked on phase transitions in dielectrics, ferroelectrics, incommensurate phases, and more recently on photovoltaics.
