Events celebrating Open Access Day

This list is sponsored by the founding partners of Open Access Day -- PLoS, SPARC, and Students for Free Culture.
The last OA day was October 14, 2008. Because the worldwide response was so large, in 2009 the sponsors decided to coordinate an Open Access Week instead.
The list began as a database at SPARC and moved to the OAD on October 4th 2008 for community editing.
