- Jointly developed by Science Europe, cOAlition S, OPERAS, and the French National Research Agency (ANR).
- Aims to align and develop common resources for the Diamond Open Access ecosystem
- Launched on February 3, 2022
- AEGIS-OA (Activate European Guidance and Incentives for Sustainable Open Access publishing)
- A key initiative of the European Diamond Capacity Hub (EDCH) and OPERAS, launched in Brussels.
- Launched in March 19, 2026.
- ALMASI (Aligning and Mutualizing Nonprofit Open Access Publishing Services Internationally)
- Funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe program.
- Coordinated by European-led initiatives in collaboration with international partners.

- Best Practices Checklist for Diamond OA Publishers.
- Produced by the DIAMAS (Developing Institutional Open Access Publishing Models to Advance Scholarly Communication) consortium.
- Released on July 2025.

- cOAlition S: Diamond Open Access Initiative.
- Managed by cOAlition S, an international consortium of research funding and organizations.

- CoDOA (Creating a Sustainable Funding Scheme for Diamond Open Access Through Institutional Collaboration in Switzerland)
- A collaborative project involving several Swiss higher education institutions, including the University of Zurich, University of Geneva, and ZHAW.
- Aims to develop and implement a national, sustainable funding model for Diamond Open Access in Switzerland.
- Project Duration: 2024 – 2026
- CODRIA (Community-Driven Open-Access-Journale zwischen wissenschaftlichen und ressourcenbezogenen Anforderungen.)
- The project is a collaboration between Bielefeld University Library and Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSBI).
- Investigate the sustainability of "Community-Driven" (Diamond) Open Access journals.
- Project Duration: May 2024 – April 2027.
- CRAFT-OA (Creating a Robust Accessible Federated Technology for Open Access)
- Funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe program.
- Coordinated by the University of Göttingen and involves a consortium of 23 partners across 14 European countries.
- Project Duration: January 2023 – December 2025.

- DIAMAS (Developing Institutional Open Access Publishing Models to Advance Scholarly Communication)
- Funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe program.
- Coordinated by Aix-Marseille University (AMU) and involves 23 international organizations, including OPERAS, LIBER, and Science Europe.
- Project Duration: September 2022 – August 2025.
- Diamond Discovery Hub. (DDH)
- Developed as part of the DIAMAS project in collaboration with CRAFT-OA and DOAJ.
- Hosted within the European Diamond Capacity Hub (EDCH).
- Launched in October 2025.
- Diamond ERA.
- A strategic briefing published by OPERAS, the European Research Infrastructure.
- Aims to outline the transition from theoretical support for Diamond Open Access to its practical implementation.
- Released on January 22, 2026
- Diamond Funding Navigator.
- Developed and maintained by the TIB – Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology and University Library in Germany.
- Launched in Late 2024
- Diamond Open Access Recommendations and Guidelines.
- Part of the DIAMAS project.
- Developed by the European University Association (EUA), Science Europe, and OPERAS.
- Released in May 26, 2025.
