GKR Manager at Georgia Tech Library, Atlanta, Georgia. The GALILEO Knowledge Repository (GKR) offers a cooperative institutional repository (IR) model to USG colleges and universities for managing and accessing their digital scholarship, research information, and related works. The GKR will provide an IR hosting service to USG institutions, and a statewide metadata repository for federated searching and browsing of Georgia repositories to the citizens of Georgia and the scholarly community at large. The GKR is sponsored by Georgia Tech, University of Georgia, GALILEO, and the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).
