I am the Scholarly Communications Librarian for the University Library System, University of Pittsburgh. I am assigned to the Office of Scholarly Communication and Publishing, under the Department of Information Technology. In this role, I provide guidance to the university community on copyright policy and legislation, open access, and best practices in scholarly communication. I assist with the management of 6 subject-based repositories, 1 institutional repositories, and 2 online conference sites. I am also co-editor of an open access journal, Pennsylvania Libraries: Research & Practice.
