Marguerite Avery is Executive Editor of Amherst College Press, a digital-first, Open Access scholarly press. She has over a decade of scholarly communication and publishing experience, most notably at The MIT Press as Senior Acquiring Editor in Information Studies, Communications, and Science, Technology & Society. She holds advisory and/or editorial board positions with Pacific University Press, Open Library of Humanities, the Open Access Directory, and the Digital Public Library of America's Content and Strategy workstream.
