• It was never an active OAD list. It was a "list under development" that we decided to retire rather than promote. Here's the short version of the long story: There are already very good lists of OER. For examples, see "Open educational resources (OERs)" in Lists maintained by others.

  • The lists are part of the Open Access Directory and is sponsored by UNESCO.
  • The resources listed are fully or partially freely available (not a trial).
  • Any added resource which is strictly commercial with no free resources will be deleted.
  • The resources are in English unless otherwise noted in the description.
