Currently serving as Assistant Scholarly Communications Librarian, Office of Scholarly Communication and Publishing, University Library System, University of Pittsburgh, Ms. Chan is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh Master of Library and Information Science program, with a specialization in Information Technology. She holds undergraduate degrees in Political Science and International Studies from Louisiana State University. She is an administrator of the University of Pittsburgh institutional repository, D-Scholarship@Pitt. As a coordinator of the ULS Altmetrics pilot project, Ms. Chan has had the opportunity to work with researchers and faculty in academic disciplines that span the spectrum.
