<p><b>New page</b></p><div>Martyn currently works at MDPI as Chief Production Editor and has a strong interest in open access, open science and preprints. He graduated in mathematics and physics from the University of Warwick in 2004, before completing an MSc and PhD under Warwick’s interdisciplinary MOAC program. His final project focused on spectroscopy of DNA and modeling biopolymerization processes. He went on to a three year postdoc at the University of Reading, using atomic force microscopy and small angle X-ray scattering to analyze nano-structured biomaterials. He followed this with a further postdoctoral position at the University of Freiburg, developing TIRF microscopy of protein complexes.</div>Nancypontika
