<p>Creating user page with biography of new user.</p> <p><b>New page</b></p><div>Ellen is Program Manager, Scholarly Publishing &amp; Licensing, in the MIT Libraries.<br /> <br /> The MIT Libraries’ Office of Scholarly Publishing &amp; Licensing supports MIT faculty and researchers who have questions about their options and rights in the world of scholarly publishing.<br /> <br /> Ellen, Program Manager for the Office, moved into the new position in September 2006.<br /> <br /> She supports MIT faculty and researchers at the time of publication, when many rights and potential uses are defined in publisher agreements. She answers questions about author options and rights, including working with the MIT Faculty Open Access Policy and complying with the NIH Public Access Policy, as well as general questions on copyright and fair use.<br /> <br /> Her role supports a collaborative process being engaged in by the entire academic community to realize the full potential of technology to increase the reach and impact of research.<br /> <br /> She has worked in the MIT Libraries since 1990 in a variety of roles.
