Freeda is the Acquisitions and Resource Management Librarian at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. She received her Master's in Library and Information Science and Master's in Public Administration from the University of Washington in 2012. She wants open access to challenge the concentration of money and publishing power in the for-profit sector that is sucking resources out of the higher education environment.
